Eliana has been enjoying the parks, especially the swings, and chasing the wild life. We have been really busy keeping outdoors mostly and visiting family. Eliana recently turned 20 months and is what we call "full of fire". She now sings the words to most of her favourite songs, even the hebrew ones (although some times she slurs the difficult words) but basically she gets the tune right, its cute. She understands my requests to her in chinese and starting to abit more with her hebrew from her daddy.
Eliana is growing more independent daily. She can climb the large slide at playgroup and swoosh down on her own (although she loves to put her feet down half way through). She is in love with ELMO now and favours the spelling and counting episodes (ok at least this part is from me if she looks nothing like me, lol).
Eliana can have a conversation with you and it sounds like a mixture of baby talk and real words and always ends it with "okay". During this whole time she is looking at you directly like you understand everything she just told you and you can't help but say, "yes" like its understood.
Her routine has been changing this last month with her reducing her 1 nap down to 1 hour from 2 hours and now this last week to none at all. Its quite a change for both her and us. Now my day is definately fun. But the bonus is that she sleeps 12 hours from 7 to 7 (usually wakes around midnite for milk) and back to sleep. That is what we will be working on now is cutting that last bottle.
Enjoy the fine weather...

19 Months....time goes by...
Eliana continues to be active and sweet as a toddler. She sings alot of songs, like the Alphabet Song and a Hebrew butterfly song ( I have the butterfly song on cd and working on the abc one). She identifies well with music so singing is a natural for her to use a a memory tool. This is an amazing age where she communicates more with us and learning sentences, words and numbers in all the languages we speak. I have to figure out how to get the cd video on the blog, could take me awhile.
Enjoy Canada Day and the sun everyone...
